Sicily has recently become a hotbed of superb and quality wine-making. From which, in the province of Trapani, springs Marco and his generationally owned vineyards, Serramarrocco. Focusing on native grapes, like Zibbibo and Pignatello, Marco has allowed the wine to speak from the heart and soul of the land. Furthermore, with his Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc blend, he shares with us a story that bridges both space and time. His touch with the wines straddle power, finesse, subtlety, and depth. Truly, he gives the house a proud heritage with a modern face.
Chef Patrick Willis will be preparing four courses to pair along with four wines selected by the Jefferson Hotel’s resident sommelier, Shawn O’Keefe. Marco di Serramarrocco will be joining us to discuss his philosophies and wine-making techniques.
